WORLD TIME, EXPLAINED

Compare time zones without mental math.

This world time clock formats every selected city with its IANA time-zone ID instead of a fixed UTC offset. That means dates, local time and daylight-saving changes follow the rules supplied by your browser.

Add and compare cities

Search more than 300 browser-supported time zones, then keep the cities you work with in one view. Your selection is saved only on this device.

Plan around daylight saving time

Offsets can change when a region enters or leaves daylight saving time. Check the live city cards instead of relying on a memorised UTC difference.

Set a respectful meeting time

The meeting panel weighs each city’s local working day. It labels an alternative when a perfect work-hours overlap does not exist, so the trade-off stays visible.

FAQ

World Clock questions

Is this an official or atomic world clock?

No. It calculates time from your device clock and the IANA time-zone rules supplied by your browser. It does not claim atomic-clock calibration.

Does the World Clock handle daylight saving time?

Yes. Each city uses its IANA time-zone ID, so daylight-saving rules supported by your browser are applied automatically.

Can I compare two or more time zones?

Yes. Add cities from search or the popular-city shortcuts, then compare their live times, date changes and relative offsets in one view.

Are my cities or location uploaded?

No. Chosen cities and display settings are stored locally in this browser. The tool does not ask for or send precise location data.
